2025 Devlog #11 – Back to Development

With the demo now in players’ hands, it was time to roll up our sleeves and get back to what we love most: building the next chapter of the adventure.

November was all about finding the right balance between supporting the demo and continuing development of Act 2. We kept polishing the demo based on player feedback while also reaching out to more players and content creators to help the game find its audience.

On the development side, we revealed a brand-new story sequence featuring David being dragged away by the second boss, a pivotal moment that raises the stakes of the story. To reinforce the emotional impact of these scenes, our illustrator continued creating new artwork for the first boss’s introduction, adding visual storytelling that complements the game’s pixel art and helps immerse players even further.

We also continued expanding the Guest House basement and began building a brand-new outdoor area, the Chapel Walk. Throughout the month, we shared the scene’s development step by step, giving everyone a behind-the-scenes look at how these environments come together.

Every month brings us one step closer to completing the experience we envision. Thank you for following our journey, and we’ll have even more to share as Act 2 continues to grow.
