Hey all! We are kicking off a new year and what’s the best way to do so with a new project and a new mind set :D. Here is a little project that we were developing on our own time and that we decided to go full in since it would take less time to create.
Dev Log # 42 – Another year bites the dust

Hello!
More hard work coming to an end this new year! Year 2023 was very garnish on our end since a lot as happened in our personal life. Talking of life, one of our team member is now a new dad with all the responsibility that comes with it.
Still we are ever so active in our dreams of achieving our first game for you to enjoy!
Here are the lineups for this new year. A new environments that is leading us to our first boss soon we hope!

Also a new puzzle in the making!

We are also working a lot on UI and coding the under the hood core codes so … Yeah not much to show there (sigh :). See you in the next one! Cheers!
Dev Log # 41 – A Gameplay Shot

Hello!
Another great little feature in our game is this quite loving scene that you see before you. When you are on the second floor of the manor, you will be able to see a 3d look for the floor. We want that effect to add to the depth of our environment. We hope you like it. Cheers!
Next we continue with a new room showcase for the gardens. With the addition of a first look at a small dial-pad that will be connected with one of our puzzles.

Work work like the orc builder would say in war craft 3 ! 😀 We got this. One Step At The Time
Dev Log # 40 – New Stage map

Hey all!
Hope you are keeping frosty. We are happy to showcase a new stage in the making. The guest house will be the second main stage of the game (out of three). We have a lot of nice events planned out for you in this little place and can’t wait to have you run trough them. Cheers!
Next our dear illustrator Fred is cooking up our last illustration for our little intro and here is the first sketch.

Furthermore, on the same subject as the illustration, Fred saw our placeholder for the save station UI and took one look and decided to make a bran new look for it in under 30 minutes. I got to say that was really surprising and much adored by the whole team. Here are the before and after shot of said illustration.

Always trying our best to keep you all in the loop with current developments.
See you in the next one!
Dev Log # 39 – First Sample Original Track
Hey all, hope you are doing well!
We are presenting today our first sample track for our game, it’s our outside theme. Imagine rain in the background with occasional thunder and wind. Enjoy!
Next we have been working on a proper death sequence animation and wanted to showcase it. Hope you like it and that you will not see it too often when walking these dark halls ;). Cheers!
The game is advancing pretty well even though we realize that like always it takes a lot more time than expected. The fun is there regardless and the progress ever more present. See you in the next one!
Dev Log # 38 – Title Screen

Hey all!
Our title screen illustration has finally got the love that it deserved and we have our first final look to showcase in this dev log. What is left to do here is to prepare a nice start menu to fit with this illustration.
Next we have another great melee weapon for you to exploit when you will walk these dark halls. Here is the small demo of it:
Finally, here’s a peek at yet another environment currently in the making.

The game is getting crowded and we see constant evolution. See you soon!
Dev Log # 37 – A moment of respite
Hey all!
We are very happy to showcase our first Original soundtrack for our game. In this amazing piece made by Gabriel Jean, we wanted you to let go of the stress and tension that the rest of the game will bring you. Enjoy!
Also a peak at a new environment for our basement map.

Have a good one and see you in the next one!
Dev Log # 36 – A mood update for our scenes
We have been still hard at work on our little horror title and wanted to showcase a bit of the mood setting for our scenes. We hope you like it!
Further more we are presenting a new weapon in your holster that will bring a shocking new dynamic. ^^
We wanted to finish with this nice sketch about the first look at our manor and all its glory. Cheers!

Have a good one and see you in the next one!
Dev Log # 35 – Make that Dome Split
Hey everyone!
Here is another great new mechanic that we wanted to introduce to you all. When you fire a gun, it is very important for us that you want to fire again just for the fun of it. It a game after all and the most important aspect of the game to us is fun.

Here is the first final look at this amazing piece made by Frederic Bertrand Hudon . The first story illustration is almost finish.
We can’t wait to have you try the game. Cheers!
Dev Log # 34 – New LOS Mechanics
Hey everyone!
We are very proud to have finally realize the LOS (Line of sight) mechanic that we wanted to make from the get go. It was thanks to the YouTube ue4 community that this code was brought to life and we now have something a lot more dreadful to bring.
Also we have Kim that is final and polish that we wanted to update over here. A lot of modification were made to bring character into her portrait. Cheers!

To finish we wanted to showcase the new development in the illustration department from our dear friend and college Frederic Bertrand Hudon .
Has always, we will see you in the next one. Cheers!
Dev Log # 33 – Fighting and characters
Hey everyone!
Here we are dropping in a new character concept and our first look at some gameplay. It is a bit too dark for now in these hallways but we are working hard at building the atmosphere bit by bit.
Also we are implementing this new character as your partner and possible second playable character with it’s own story/ark/take on the game maybe?? :P. Only time will tell. Cheers!

Dev Log # 32 – An old friend reappearance

Hey everyone!
We are happy to inform you all that we reached out to an old contact of us that took the project of making 7 great unique illustration for our little game intro story. Here we have on top a few of the sketches that Frédéric Bertrand Hudon did for us. Hope you like it cause what comes next from him will be awesome!
Furthermore we have been hard at work to get working on a cool looking map for our mansion. We want you all to fall in love with it like we did with the famous Spenser mansion from resident evil 1

Keep it real and awesome out there and see you in the next.
Dev Log # 31-Combat and User Interface

Hey everyone!
The development is going well and we already have a good bunch of maps that are completed. We wanted to showcase the combat animation basics and a glimpse at the UI. Cheers!
You can clearly see a resemblance to the resident evil series but we plan to add our little touch in the near future to adapt it to the more modern survival horror games.

As always we really are having a blast making that small game and can’t wait to have you try it soon!
Have a good one!
Dev Log # 30-New channel and new direction

Hey everyone!
We made this new channel for our top down #horror game Called HS , presently in a fast forward motion towards completion. We will be posting here the development with all of you. Cheers!
Meet Tim, one of your hero that you will be able to play with. He is a local law enforcer that you will control in our first Horror scenario (The Mansion ). Can you survive the coming horror? H.S. is a top down horror game that is largely inspired by the classic resident evil and also a recent title that we love called Darkwood.

We are very exited for this one and we can’t wait to have you play it. Cheers and catch you in the next one !
Dev Log #29 Thank you for all the support!

Hello Robots!
We wanted to take the time to thank you all for the continued support and we are very happy to announce a new milestone in Twitter. 500 followers already. We are always present on the post working on our dream projects and we hope to keep on going for long!
Here are the highlights of this month. A few new robots are now entering our world and here we present them in wire and metal plate. Meet the Sawturn and the Helios.

Furthermore, our animator started working on small loops for NPC Exo units that you will come across in the world of SoulCipher and here to present you a little peek on it.
Keep it frosty and we will see you at the next one! Cheers!
Dev Log #28 In depth Work Flow

Hey all!
We have something cool to show you this month and we are happy to archive this little work flow we did back in the beginning of this year. The image of the Sentinel Waste District (As seen above) with a step by step environment development.

Here showing a nice new mechanics for you all is our charging station that we are showcasing right here. They will give a better quality of life and dynamism to the world and for the players to enjoy.
